Alas, I got rid of tv when ntl became virgin. A fit of pique that has seen us have no tv in the house for at least a couple of years and not really missing it at all. I thought the only thing I would miss was sport.

I can see a few hours trawling the net to try and find the documentary.

That’s an interesting point about the Needle Gun, Simon. It’s been a long time since I read the Eternal Champion books, but it makes sense that if the hero takes a new form so would the weapon.

Great documentary on Hawkwind on the BBC in the last year. Don’t know if you saw it.

Fantastic stuff. The Chronicles has always been one of my favorites. A mate of mine has just bought all the Hawkwind he could find. I think he may be just a bit excited with the avalability improving.

When I hear stuff like Knights of Cydonia I always think of this album.

I think my favorite is Moonglum.

I found the Moorcock site and discovered his birthday is the same date as my daughter’s. Random, pointless fact for you there.

I think with the Needle Gun is that it is a different incarnation of Stormbringer. Maybe

Good to see Mike taking it seriously, and wearing a nice tuxedo for the occasion.

Always liked the track Needle Gun on that LP, but was never sure what a song about Jerry Cornelius’ weapon of choice was doing on a record about Elric.

And man, that mime sure had his mojo workin’.
