Ha! I was sat on Croyde beach on Thursday this week eating a picnic under umbrellas. Gotta love our summers
Ah , dear wet Britannia ; this realm of rain .
This royally sodden throne of kings , this soggy sceptred isle .
This squelching earth of misty majesty.
This soaking seat of full bars .
This muddy Eden , demi – precipitation paradise .
This leaking fortress built by by nature to stop us ever being dry ……..Got to love it , tho !
If they were to stick a whacking great canopy over the column, it would make a very effective umbrella. I’ll suggest it to Cameron.
He needs some good ideas.
